Hi All, Do any of you know of good sites for free stuff; not necessarily like prizes and such, but like free web hosting or E-Mail accounts of just free fun sites like that, without Spam or any bad stuff like that? Hope to get an interesting discusion going here. Caitlin

You can get free e-mail accounts at hotmail and yahoo. I think google is going to start offering e-mail accounts as well. Hmm there's a log of free stuff out there is you do searches for it. Download.com is a good place to look.

Hotmail and Yahoo are both great sites to go for email. I heard Google was in breech of privacy violations for email access. Something to do with whatever content or topic about your message you'd get ads. But if you're doing primarily searches, Ask Jeeves, and Google are great places to do websearching. As for free hosting no-ip.com has free redirect service hosting, and alot of other goodies.

thefreesite.com offers some good software, or softonic.com, but the problem is that softonic.com is a company in Spain, anyways, they offer english service I think, also check www.alwaysfreeware.co.uk, or at least I know its called that way, smiles

Most freebies for webmaster I found weren't accessible to jaws. I can tell you that much. As it's mainly java, javascript or images.

As for thefreesite.com, I've been there before. I think their site isn't all that bad. That site is a listing of all sort of information. You really walk away with something when you leave the site.
